Erwin Ploeger
Erwin Ploeger studied Civil Engineering at the Delft University of Technology. After working for several years at his Alma Mater, he joined UNESCO-IHE in 1996.
As head of the Office of the Rector, Erwin Ploeger supports the Rectorate of UNESCO-IHE in policy development processes and day-to-day management of the Institute. The Office of the Rector (OR) is responsible for corporate communication and marketing of UNESCO-IHE’s products and services. OR is also a portal for project acquisitions and facilitates formulation and implementation of UNESCO-IHE’s projects.
Last but not least, OR is concerned with the quality of education and is responsible for the development of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met.
